We look forward to having you join us at the Emerging Learning Design 2016 Conference.

Please read these instructions carefully before proceeding.


  1. Select your ticket type and change the quantity from 0 to 1.  IMPORTANT NOTE: No discount codes can be used for the EARLY BIRD registration.  If you have a discount code, please select ADVANCED REGISTRATION.
  2. If you have a discount code, click the link that reads “ENTER DISCOUNT CODE“, which is located directly above the ORDER NOW button.  A white entry field will appear, enter your discount code in that field and then click the APPLY DISCOUNT link.  The price for the ticket will update and then click the ORDER NOW button.
  3. Complete the Registration Form. IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you are a member of the Montclair State University community, with a valid Montclair State email address, and you used the MSU Discount Code, you MUST enter your MSU email address on that form.
  4. Read the WAIVERS section carefully, which details cancellation and revision fees.  These fees apply as soon after you complete the registration.
  5. Review the two items that can be added on – the ELD16 After Party and On-Campus Housing options.
  6. Once you have confirmed your reservation you will be able to print your ticket.  You can print it now or save the information and print it (or reprint it) closer to the date of the conference.


Toward the end of the REGISTRATION process you will be given the option of two items to add on at an additional cost.

  • The first is our now-famous After Party, which takes place immediate following the conference.  The After Party lasts until the last person leaves, but for the first hour we will have an open bar (call brands, wine, beer, soda, juices) and passed hors d’oeuvres and a cheese and cracker station.  You must be 21 or older to attend this event.
  • The second is our on-campus dorm/housing option.  There are hotels in the area, and that information will get posted shortly, but they average about $100 a night.  We will be offering an on-campus single room with a private bath for $68.00 per night.  You will be able to request one, two, or three nights.  You will be contacted closer to the conference date for more information.  Any questions on housing can be directed to eld@mail.montclair.edu attn: housing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is essential that you bring the printed ticket OR a digital version WITH the QR code with you to the conference along with a photo ID.  Montclair State University Faculty, Adjuncts, and Staff MUST bring their valid MSU ID with them.

Are you a student? We are pleased to offer students a 40% discount.  To get a code for discounted registration, please email eld@mail.montclair.edu from your school account and provide your current status, program/major, and anticipated graduation date.
