To help peer reviewers properly evaluate your submission, and provide constructive feedback, please prepare a document suitable for blind review that includes the following elements

  1. Title and abstract
These should be submitted in the text box in the EasyChair submission form, and also (for redundancy’s sake) in the document you attach.  Abstracts should briefly characterize the main topic of the presentation, any results to report, and audience/participant outcomes to expect.  The title must be limited to 75 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
  2. Track Selection
Indicate the track into which you believe your presentation is the best fit.  You are also welcome to indicate if you believe any of the other tracks might also apply, but it is critical that you select one of the tracks as a primary.  Peer-reviewers will use this information to help evaluate your submission.  Reviewers will provide feedback on track fit and may, as part of the feedback process, suggest a change to your primary track.
  3. Session Type
Indicate the session type into which you believe your presentation would be the best fit. Peer-reviewers will use this information to help evaluate submission.  Reviewers will provide feedback on session fit and may, as part of the feedback process, suggest a change to session type if the review committee believes it would be more appropriate.
  4. Presentation Description
Please clearly describe what you will discuss, what audience/participants will do, and what abilities, resources, perspectives or information will be gained by conference attendees.  You might find it beneficial to keep your preferred session type in mind as you write this, to place your goals in the context of that session.  Make sure you also address the track description so it is clear that your presentation is a good fit with your preferred track.  Peer-Reviewers will use all of this information to evaluate the novelty, impact and academic rigor of your activity/research/discussion, as well as its interest to potential conference attendees.
  5. Extraordinary technical or presentation requirements
All presentations can assume the following support: wireless and wired internet access, data projector (with VGA connectors – bring your Mac adapter!) and audio jacks.  Loaner laptops are also available if you wish to bring presentation materials on a USB stick.  If you require any additional support (i.e., laptops for audience members, clickers, unusual space requirements, software) please indicate those clearly in your proposal.  Reviewers will not be using this information in their evaluations, but we do need to be aware at the earliest possible date about these requirements to increase our chances of meeting them.

The EasyChair site will accept typical document formats including Word and PDF.  Please ensure that you have omitted any identifying details (institution, presenter names) so that our reviews can be impartial.
