The Emerging Learning Design (ELD) organization is seeking those interested in joining its executive board. The board oversees the annual Emerging Learning Design Conference and the Journal of Emerging Learning Design. The board also plays an active role in the development, maintenance, and growth of the ELD Community, which is dedicated to creating a space to showcase innovation and to engage in a vibrant and dynamic discourse regarding pedagogy and how technology can better enhance and transform it.

Board members will serve 2 year terms (no term limits) beginning January  1, 2019 until December 31, 2020. On average, the executive board meets twice each month via web conferencing, usually on Wednesdays during lunch time. Months leading up to the conference might see more frequently scheduled meetings. Board members are encouraged to attend the conference where ELD holds its annual board meeting. Members will receive complimentary registration to the conference.

Those interested in joining the board should submit an application by October 31, 2018 in order to be considered for the 2019-2020 term.
