Valeria E. Molteni is an Assistant Professor at the MLK Library, San José State University​ where she is the Academic Liaison Librarian for the School of Nursing and the department of Communicative Disorders and Health Professions Writing Course. She has a Licensure in Librarianship and Documentation from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina and a M​asters in Information Sciences from UT Austin. She has published and presented at national & international conferences on scientometrics, bibliometrics, evaluation of higher education systems, services for minorities and international students in academic libraries and studies about library and the use of its space by the academic population​. In USA, She has worked at the Benson Collection at University of Texas, Austin; and her previous position was as the Multicultural and Outreach Librarian at the University Library, CSU Dominguez Hills. In her free time she enjoys life through the eyes of her 3 years old daughter, read immense amount of books and, as a seasoned traveler, plans her next travel with her husband.
