Student Created Assessment for Creative, Independent, Self-motivated Learner

Ananda Lima is an adjunct professor at The Department of Spanish and Italian at Montclair University and a photography educator.  She has strong interests in education, technology, and curriculum development which has been fueled by her varied teaching experience in synchronous,asynchronous and blended environments. She has taught theoretical linguistics, English as a second language and Portuguese as a foreign language at UCLA, Union college, and in private education. She has developed online language learning curricula for and is developing blended photography training at She holds a BA with honors in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Queensland, an MA in Linguistics from UCLA and is working part-time on research towards a PhD in Linguistics from UCLA.
