Game Rush: Motivation and Engagement Strategies for Gamification

Dave Small is an Innovative Services Designer with Pearson’s Emerging Models & Consulting Services group. He holds an MSED in Adolescent English Education from St. John Fisher College, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Educational Technology at Boise State University.  His attraction to the written word–and the inherent quality of books to both provide answers and prompt more questions about why we are who we are and do what we do–is one root behind his emphasis on critical thought, as well as his interests in learning theories, educational psychology, and effective implementation of  technologies in the classroom.
