The Emerging Learning Design 2012 Conference is pleased to announce the winner of our Logo Design Competition.  We had 29 designs submitted from 3 different countries (USA, England, & Greece) and it was very difficult to select a single winner.  All of those who submitted deserve congratulations for the creativity and ingenuity.

Our winner is Miss Jessica Gambino from Communications High School in New Jersey.  Here is the bio that Miss Gambino provided us.

“My name is Jessica Gambino and I am a senior at Communications High School where I study Advanced Design. In college, I plan to pursue architecture and design and hope to follow a career in urban planning and building design. I hope to travel the world and see what it has to offer.”

There winning design is pictured below and you can already find it gracing our Twitter account (http://twitter.com/ELDConf), or Facebook Event (https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/195412563860000/) and our Google + page (http://gplus.to/ELD12)

When asked about the design, Jessica wrote:

“My thoughts behind the ELD Conference logo were to keep it modern and clean. I feel a logo should be simple, easy-to-recognize and remind the viewer of what it represents. The basic typeface and idea of a curser are meant to showcase learning and the progression in technology that the conference promotes.”

The ELD12 Conference will present Jessica with a Certificate of Thanks and hope we can arrange to do that in person on the day of the conference.
